Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson says he is determined to prove himself in the English Premiership after signing for Blackpool.

The goalkeeper was included in the newly promoted side’s squad of 24 submitted to the Premiership at the end of transfer deadline day on Tuesday.

It is the third Premiership club that Kingson has signed on to after spells at Birmingham and Wigan but he is yet to make an significant impact.

He was branded a waste of space at Birmingham and did not play a single game at Wigan last term. Now he says he will be looking to have a more successful spell.

"I have to prove myself in the Premier League," Kingson said. "It is an unfulfilled mission for me.

Kingson has been first choice goalkeeper for Ghana in the last four years.

Good for you Richard hope you will do well in the Eglish League. This also an opportunity to shine, the English League is quite ruthless to promoted teams from their 1st division. Therefore if you are able to contribute towards the teams survival in the Premier League the whole world will know.
