Milovan Rajevac has told KickOffGhana.com he is yet to officially sign a new deal with the Ghana Football Association even though he is taking charge of Ghana’s Nations Cup qualifier against Swazilandon Sunday.
Rajevac’s deal with Ghana expired last month and while he insist he is very certain he will remain in charge, he says nothing is official yet.
“Officially I did not sign an extension yet. But we talked a lot, we have had a lot of discussions and we have almost reached a final settlement. But now the match (Swaziland-Ghana) is close and I want to sort it out afterwards. Everything will be okay though,” he told KickOffGhana.com.
“Everything is going in the right direction and everything is going well but at this moment match is close and it is the most important thing for now. After the match I believe we will sort out everything in the right direction.”
Rajevac’s comments spikes earlier reports that he has signed on the dotted lines in a four year deal worth $66,000 a month.
KickOffGhana.com understands that while in principle Rajevac and the GFA have agreed in principle on an extension, they are still talking about the nature of the coach’s bonuses during the period.
