Bucs loan Morton to Wits again

Bidvest Wits have completed the loan of midfielder Michael Morton from Orlando Pirates.

Morton joins Wits for a second spell after he turned out for the Students last season.

Coach Roger De Sa, who is still in high spirits after his side defeated League champions SuperSport United last weekend, confirms that the former national Under-20 star will report to his clubs training tomorrow morning after agreeing with Bucs on a loan move.

"He was here last season and did very well and I am very happy to have him back again in the club this season," says De Sa.

Sundowns mara bathong ba Modimo? How on earth did we let Morton go.Surely he should have been part of a swap deal with Pirates. With Johannes bleating to play for the buccaneers,we could have bargained better. Nyandoro is ageing,Pattison need some effective partner and who better to play the role.Morton has good match temperament,is young and he plays Nyandoro off the park.Remember the 4-2 loss to Wits last season.Who was controlling the strings in the middle? If we are serious about winning and retaining the league,we should start talking to Pirates about this boy.Besides Pirates never sells us pumpkins, think Leremi,Mdledle,Cheeseboy as opposed to Phala,Spencer..

I'm still asking myself why Pirates is loaning him out to Wits in the first place. The boy has amazing work rate and lots of talent, but for some reasons known best to the Orlando Pirates technical team, they just decided to let him go to Wits.

AM NOT HAPPY EITHER THAT THE BOY IS GOING, HE IS AN IMPACT PLAYER BUT IT SHOWS THAT OUR COACH IS NOT CO-OPERATING WITH MR PALACIOUS, HE DO NOT WANT TO FICTURE ANY PLAYER FROM DEVELOPMENT SIDE. WE HAD LOST THE GOOD PLAYERS FROM DEVELOPMENT, HE IS TURNING A BLIND EYE FROM THEM. I WISH MORTON SCORES A BRILLIANT GOAL THE NEXT TIME WE BEAT STUDENTS BY 3-1

Nxx!! damn this Krol guy. Krol is the only obstacle for Pirates not winning any cup this year. We can beat anyteam and Chiefs anyday with their 11 players plus the 3 match officials on the field. How can Krol recommend Morton to go back to Wits? He is crazy!!

with the midfield jam packed with Chansa, Jali, The former ajax guy, teko, etc, perhaps it is better to let morton go, otherwise whose place will he take?
Let him get some well deserved game time. All the Best Morton!

Well Done Bucs for loaning Morton to Wits!!! As a Bucs fan, I am relieved with this deal for the following three good reason:

1) For Bucs: It is relieving to loan this youngster who needs more game, than putting him on the competition with Jali, Ngobeni, and Chansa.

2) For Wits: Wits need this player to sharpen their performance where it was left since they won cup last season. This will create a good relationship between the management of the two teams.

3) For Morton: He will absolutely have more game time and play with confident as he knows that Wits is haappy to have him.

Remember Tlou Segolela was loaned out to Celtics by Bucs. Tlou was always in a starting line-up at Celtics. He justified the reason for been started by giving a super performance. After the loan expired, Bucs recalled the player and now he in one of the top preffered midfielders.
SAME will happen to Morton is he does not get injured. Watch the space.

I am sorry for Sundowns in loosing a superdeal for them not taking Morton in a swop deal. I think they will regret later

Some pple really lack ambition neh, why do you stay in place where u know very well that you are not wanted???!!It buffles me...

Sacchino@tvas : 2010-09-01 17:43

It remains crystal clear that the ElSupremos at the big giants are not interested in white talent. The poor boy should consider a permanent move away from the Buccaneers till they taste their own muti.
