Bloemfontein Celtic have completed their signings for the new season on the last day of the transfer window by snatching Siphelele Mthembu and Lennox Bacela on season long loan deals from Orlando Pirates and Santos, respectively. 

Celtic have looked thin upfront this past season and the arrival of the two strikers will strengthen that department and hopefully bring in the goals that they have been struggling to score in the two official games that they have played to date.
 
Celtic CEO Ikie Augousti confirms to KickOff.com that they have signed the two players.
 
"We have both Bacela and Mthembu on loan for the season. Since the deals are being done today we expect them to join us tomorrow in Bloemfontein. These two last minute signings are the last for us," says Augousti.
 
The writing has been on the wall for Mthembu's move as he has become excess baggage at Pirates this season. If he had stayed he would still have not played much as happened last season.
 
Apparently Maritzburg United had also shown interest earlier on in Mthembu.
 
Bacela will also widen Celtic's options upfront.

I think this thing of players move from the Poor rats to other clubs on loan is becoming a joke now. We all know what happened to most players that were on loan. Siphelele would have been a great player by now should he have stayed @ Chiefs because we are club in Mzantsi that can get the best out of the player. Lets wait and see if the loan deal will benefit the player in question.

Well done Bucs for loaning Mthembu to Celtics. I have not seen a place for him at Bucs line-up this season. Once he score one goal in his first game there, I m confident that gain form and become a dangerous man to watch to other teams in PSL.
Then Pirates will want him back in the next season, which is the same thing that happened to Tlou Segolela.

Remember Pirates have many strikers and Kroll prefers to field only one striker. Bucs have Mabena, Oterego, Msowowa, Malokase and Mashego - including two midfielders cum strikers (Schalkwyk and Mbuyane)
