Dlamini ready to lift AmaZulu

AmaZulu striker Ayanda Dlamini is ready to continue where he left off last season with his good performances and help Usuthu achieve success this season.
Dlamini took the PSL by storm in his first season after being signed by Usuthu from an amateur team in KwaZulu-Natal last year.
The Ulundi-born striker scored a brace to help AmaZulu beat Maritzburg United 3-2 in the KwaZulu-Natal derby at the weekend.
Speaking to KickOff.com, Dlamini says this season his main aim was to help the club achieve success rather than chasing individual glory.
"There were a lot of expectations ahead of this game; not only was it the opening League game but also a derby and I am very happy that we won. It was a good to start the season with a win as it gives us confidence to continue doing well throughout the season.
"Personally, I want to do better than last season and, like any player, I am hoping to win the top goal scorer award, however club success comes before individual prizes. I don't want to set a target for goals to score but just want to score as many as possible."
Dlamini also hailed the arrival of Manqoba Mngqithi who took over the coaching reigns at AmaZulu following the departure of Neil Tovey.
"The coach has made it clear what he expects from players and also expects the players to give their best performances on the field. He is a very good coach and I enjoy working with him."
