Kaizer Chiefs coach Vladimir Vermezovic has explained why Nkosinathi Nhleko has not featured in any of the Kaizer Chiefs matches this season.
Nhleko has not been part of the playing squad in any of Amakhosi's official matches this season and was not even on the bench in any of the matches.
However, Vermezovic says he has a number of strikers and Sthembiso Ngcobo's style is identical to that of Nhleko.
"I have five or six strikers and Nkosinathi Nhleko's style is similar to that of (Sthembiso) Ngcobo. Plus Ngcobo is a Bafana Bafana player and I need to play him because of national interest.
"Chippa (Nhleko) has had a good pre-season with us and he will help us a lot as the season is long but it is just that Musona and Ngcobo have an advantage for now."
Nhleko scored some vital goals for Amakhosi last season. Ngcobo was signed from Free State Stars during the off season and is yet to score a goal in an official Amakhosi match.
