Former Orlando Pirates striker Irvin Mhlambi has resurfaced in the Free State where he has signed for African Warriors.

Mhlambi has joined other former PSL players that include Innocent Ntsume, Lynch Pule and Jimmy Zakazaka (ex Bay United) at the First Division outfit.

The club's CEO Bafana Khumalo tells KickOff.com that his team has also retained coach Ashwin Sutton who was acting as caretaker coach last season.

"We have great trust and confidence in Sutton's ability as a coach and consequently we have retained the whole technical team from last season.

"With the few quality players we have brought in this season, we are confident of winning promotion to the PSL next season," he adds.

Good luck Barcos. These coaches will never realise what they're missing. You were a leading goal score for the whole season and Pirates decided to lure you to their camp, only only not to utilize. Mina I know what you're capable of.
