Five Carara Kicks players suffered minor injuries when the car they were travelling in overturned.

The five, Buti Nkulube, Thabiso Semenya, Mzu Sikhosana, Sanele Mabasoa and Sihle Mbambo were on their way to training when the accident occurred.

According to team manager Jomo Ntuli the car went out of control while the driver was trying to overtake a truck.

The players are currently being treated at the Hoogland Medi-clinic in Bethlehem.

"They were travelling from QwaQwa to Reitz for training. The five players were in a private car while others were in the team bus.

"I hope the players will be ready for our first league game. Semenya was also in the car but he is still fine. We are still waiting for the doctors to give the results on their tests," he says.
