One-time Bafana Bafana striker Sandile Ndlovu has returned to his former club Dynamos as he begins a journey to revive a career that has frozen over the past year that he has spent at Bloemfontein Celtic.
Ndlovu is a free agent at the moment after Celtic decided against renewing his contract when it expired at the end of June.
Dynamos' team manager Rodney Thobejane confirms that the 30-year-old arrived in Polokwane on Monday accompanied by Siphesihle Ngobese who also played at both Celtic and Moroka Swallows as did Ndlovu.
"Sandile is here training with us, along with Siphesihle," confirms Thobejane.
Though Ndlovu has yet to sign, club boss Pat Malabela is understood to be keen on the big striker and is negotiating terms with him.
Ndlovu enjoyed the best of his football when Dynamos were still in the PSL during the 2004/05 season, scoring 20 goals – a feat that he has not achieved since then.
Dynamos are now banking on Ndlovu's return as both club and player hope to rekindle the sparks of the past.
