Former Orlando Pirates defender Kelebogile Mabe will continue with his career in the First Division after joining Inland Stream returnees FC AK straight after spending the past season on loan at Thanda Royal Zulu.
According to FC AK CEO, Gene Petersen, Mabe popularly known as 'Lele' has signed on a two year contract.
"Mabe has signed a two-year contract after having been training with us for the past few weeks. He brought his clearance from Pirates," says Petersen.
Mabe was forced to cut short his loan stay at Thanda last season two months earlier after being told to stop training by Nastasia Tsichlas.
The Randfontein-born rightback had arrived at Thanda after battling for game time at the Bucs, starting just 28 games since breaking into the first team during the 2004/05 season, with most of his games coming during the spell when Owen da Gama was coach.
Another former Pirates player Patrick Thwala is also training with FC AK but is yet to sign.
