First Division Inland Stream side Dynamos have roped in Zimbabwean coach Phillip Mbofana to replace fellow countryman Shepherd Murape as their new head coach.
Mbofana has agreed to a one year deal with an option of renewing based on the performance of the team.
Dynamos managing director July Malabela tells KickOff.com that Mbofana is expected to start with his coaching duties once he has sorted out his paperwork.
Allan Freese, the former head of youth development at Platinum Stars, will serve as his assistant.
Mbofana was in Polokwane at the beginning of the week but has gone back home via Swaziland where he has been coaching for the past few years.
The former Zimbabwe Under-20 and Under-23 coach has in recent years coached Swaziland clubs Mbabane Highlanders, XI Men in Flight and Pigg's Peak Bush Bucks while back home he once coached the now defunct Mhangura.
Dynamos were last season led by Jacob Sakala and had brought in Murape as new coach.
He worked with the team for three weeks in pre-season before then surprisingly leaving to join United FC.
