Annan could still move: Agent

Anthony Annan could still move away from Rosemborg in Norway with his agents insisting there is enough interest elsewhere to get the Ghanaian the deal he wants.

Annan has not hidden his desire to play elsewhere while Rosenborg have said they will hold unto the player whose present deal expires in December 2011.

But his agent Lars Peter Fosdahl says he is hopeful a deal can still be made. "There are many other big clubs in England and in Europe interested in him but at the moment nothing is happening.

"Rosenborg don't want to sell him but we are still hopeful he will be allowed to move before the end of the window."

Annan, who has been one of Ghana's best players over the last four years has been linked with one big move after the other and mostly they have turned out to be just rumours.

Fosdahl says a stumbling block to a deal with a major European club now could be the fact that he will be cup tied for European competitions after playing in Rosenborg's European games.

"A big problem for clubs trying to sign him now is that he has played in Champions League qualification and they don't want to sign a player who will be cup-tied," he added.
