University of Pretoria have completed the signing of Zimbabwean striker Nqobile Mpala on a two-year contract.

Mpala has become the second major signing for AmaTuks after signed AmaGlug-glug midfielder Thabo Moleko also on a two-year contract.

AmaTuks manager Graham Oosthius says the signing of the duo underlines their intention of playing in the PSL next season.

"We have spent many years in the First Division and now this is our chance to play in the PSL next season."

Oosthius also confirms that his club has not given up on the signing Supersport United’s Swazi striker Phinda Dlamini who is also being courted by Jomo Cosmos.
