Zambia's Zanaco will be hoping to go one better than SuperSport United when they travel to Morocco to take on FUS Rabat in a Group B CAF Confederations Cup clash this weekend.

FUS sent the South Africans out of the competition but Zanaco, ousters of twice African champions, Enyimba, are hoping for a convincing result to boost their chances in the competition.

Zanaco coach Wedson Nyirenda envisages a tough outing against the Moroccans, one of the surprise packets at the this stage.

"It is not an easy thing but I am confident and anything is possible. First and foremost there is no easy team in the competition, we are facing a tough team from Morocco and I think we have prepared ourselves well for a good result."

Nyirenda will also be without key players Makundika Sakala and Allen Mukuka, but he remains positive about their chances.

In Group A, Libyan champions Al-Ittihad will face Sudanese giants Al-Hilal in Tripoli whilst surprise packets, AS FAN of Niger lock horns Mali's Djoliba in Niamey.

Twice winners CS Sfaxien launch their campaign at the mini-league stage this weekend with a trip to Alexandria as guests of Egyptian torchbearers Haras El-Hodoud.

The North African duo face-off in arguably the top-liner of Group B scheduled for the Max Stadium; a venue which has proved unwelcoming for visiting teams.

The Egyptian Cup holders, making their third successive appearance at the last eight of the second tier continental club championship, boast of an impressive record at home, scoring a colossal 18 goals and letting in just two en route to reaching this stage.

Clearly, this a record that will give birth to uneasiness in the camp of any visiting team to the second largest city in the land of the Pharaohs, but Sfaxien, winners of the competition in 2007 and 2008 look set to hand the Egyptians their biggest test so far in the competition.

The seven-time Tunisian champions have put behind their loss in the weekend's UNAF Super Cup to Algeria's Entente Setif, in search of the perfect start to their campaign for an unprecedented third triumph in the history of the competition.

The Sfax-based side eased past continental debutants Petrojet at the 1/8th round and have victory at the back of their minds to confirm their superiority over Egyptian clubs this term.
