The dust has settled in the CAF Confederation Cup with the unveiling of the identities of clubs for the mini-league stage.
Zambia's is Southern Africa's only representative in the final eight and they have a mountain to climb in Group B.
Zanaco are up against FUS Rabat (who knocked SuperSport United out of the competition, Egypt's Haras El Hodoud, who thumped Gaberone United 8-1 at the weekend and twice time winners CS Sfaxien of Tunisia.
Group A comprises AS FAN of Niger, Al Hilal (Sudan), Al Itiihad (Libya) and Djoliba AC of Mali.
The only notable surprise is Nigerien side AS FAN who zoomed into the last eight at the expense of Sudanese giants Al-Merrikh.
It was the first time that a club from Niger has advanced to the mini-league stage of a major continental championship.
Also making a first entry to the mini-league stage are Djoliba and Zanaco.
Djoliba held CR Belouizdad of Algeria to a one all draw and advanced on the away goal rule after both legs were tied at 1-1.
In Aba, Nigeria's Enyimba failed to produce the expected historical comeback against Zanaco.
The Nigerian champions won 2-0 but it was not enough to overturn a 0-4 loss from the first leg, allowing Zanaco to march on.
