Former Bloemfontein Celtic defender Billy Ratsoana has become the latest player moving down the ladder as he closes in on a move to First Division side Thanda Royal Zulu.
Ratsoana saw his contract not renewed at Celtic at the end of June and has since decided to head back to the First Division league which he last played in eight years ago at his home town club Mabopane Young Masters.
Peter Koutroulis, the Thanda manager confirms that they are definitely keen on snapping up Ratsoana.
"We have Billy training with us here though he hasn't signed as yet. But we are definitely looking at bringing him in to strengthen the team since our intention is to gain promotion this season," says Koutroulis.
Koutroulis also speaks with joy about the relocation to Richards Bay from Durban where they will play home games at the uMhlathuze Sports Complex.
"We are well settled here and all is going well in the two months that we have been here," he says.
Thanda have already signed Phumudzo Manezhe and Tampungu Dikete.
