First Division side Carara Kicks could be in the hands of new owners tomorrow after KickOff.com established that the Free State outfit was on the verge of being sold and would relocate to KwaZulu-Natal before the end of this week.
After their unsuccessful bid to buy Bay United, African Wanderers owners have now turned their attention to buy Kicks and according to a source close to the deal, the PSL has already approved the change of ownership and that all that is left is for the 'KwaZulu-Natal owners' is to deposit money into club owner Motebang Mokoena's bank account today.
Abaqulusi chairman Zibuse Mlaba confirms that their negotiations to buy the Kicks side are at an advanced stage.
"We are hoping to finalise the deal tomorrow. This is our second attempt to buy a club and we are hoping that we will achieve our dream of buying a team in the First Division," he says.
