Bucs beat Dynamos in friendly

Orlando Pirates midfielder Tlou Segolela proved that could be the answer to Bucs' goal scoring problems this season when scored a brace to help his team beat First division side Dynamos 3-1 in a friendly match played at Johannesburg Stadium on Saturday.

Both Pirates and Dynamos were using the friendly to sharpen themselves up ahead of the new season.

While the Limpopo based side is looking for promotion to the PSL next season the Soweto giants are looking to end their drought without any major silverware in the past 10 years.

Both teams paraded new players during game but the more notable players in Bucs' line up were new recruits including Daine Klate and Patrick Malokase who partnered Sphelele Mthembu in the first half.

Orlando Pirates' other goal was scored by Joseph Makhanya whilst defender Anele Ithole, whose good showing must have impressed Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane who watched the game on the stands, scored the only goal for the visitors.

Eish, dis starts of OP & KC its not new 2 me, we awayz do well at dis tym but at the end siyakhala, why? The problem iz on our plyrz guyz at dis tym they all send msgs 2 coaches says "coach i 'm here pls use" but when szn goes on they get relaxed as they see dat they are 1st elevens so what else 2 do & they call themslvs STARS, luk when they plyd on Vodacom challenge they really showed us what they have bcos they are plyng with big teams but when it comes 2 our league they do a vice versa thing as they treat other teams as small teams, the result of dat izinyembezi(tears) on us as fans.
