Bafana Bafana defender Siyabonga Sangweni's chances of going to Israel for trials with Maccabi Haifa have fallen through after the club signed an Argentine defender.

Sangweni, who is also reportedly being courted by both Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs, is now considering new options in Europe where he hopes to further his soccer career this coming season.

The KwaZulu-Natal born defender's agent Mike Makaab of Prosport International confirms that the player was no longer going to Israel for trials.

"There were lot of problems applying for his visa and by the time we secured his travel documents the club had already signed an Argentinean defender.

“With the blessing of Golden Arrows, where the player is still contracted, we are working on something but definitely moving him to Europe is our first priority."

Sign for bulawayo sunflops earn big bucs and be on the bench.If you lucky might be loaned out recalled back continue with big bucs salary and be on the transfer!
Sign for the Pie Rats add numbers to the team and PSL, guaranteed TCC medal only for the rest of the season. Next season will be loaned to Aces or Bloem Celtics then no overseas deal for you.
Last option sign for the Glamour Boys play for one season and overseas teams will be competing for your services!

The very same supporters of so called big teams were saying the same thing about Nale,Khanyeza,Zothwane,Mdluli before joining them last season but what happend?they have'nt moved overseas and were out of BB setup for WC.

This statement is a lie. ****** agents! They were never interested, how could they just sign another player even before the isue of documents is concluded. The Argentinian player had the same delays as well.

Sign for Pirates, win the League with the team and sign for English premier team like MAbizela

Sign for Sundowns and earn a fortune.

Stay at arrows, continue to play well and wait for his chance to go overseas like Dikgacio.


AmaZim zim are not even an option. Broke with one goal, a trophy per season.
