Aka joins Black Aces

Posted: 2010-07-28 07:27

It looks like Mpumalanga Black Aces supporters are in for an exciting season after the club made another big signing yesterday, that of highly rated Ivorian striker Bryce Aka.

The forward, who was put on transfer by Maritzburg United during the off season, has committed himself to AmaZayoni for one season plus a 12-month option.

Aka has joined a number of high profile players signed by Aces during the off season, including Denis Onyango, Lehlohonolo Seema, Joseph Henyekane, Francis Chansa and Marawaan Bantam.

The Mpumalanga-based side is currently assessing former Ajax Cape Town Ghanaian striker Eric Bisser and are hoping to secure the signature of Malawian midfielder Josephy Kamwendo before the start of new season.

Well first let me say congrats to Aces for reinforcing the team, as it implies that we will be able to watch quality football as opposed to the nonsense presented last season. I'm a bit concerned about the report from Doris Aka Thabo, which to me has a substance. The team seems not to be keen in developing local talent, as very few activities involving the team prevail.

I happened to learn that the team manager has no respect of players and other administration staff he works with, which had a negative impact on the playing and admin staff alike. When compared to Siwelele Aces seem not to be involved in community activities and takes the supporters they have for granted. Remember guys a team without supporters is like a King without people. Respect us guys and don't take Mpumalanga people for a ride. Thabo (Doris) tell us exactly why you were sacked together with some of your colleagues.
