SSU set to sign English keeper

Soon after allowing Ugandan national team goalkeeper Denis Onyango to join Mpumalanga Black Aces, SuperSport United are now preparing to sign former Bury goalkeeper Wayne Brown.
Brown, who arrived in South Africa as a free agent after his contract with Bury expired last season, is expected to sign a two-year contract this week.
Matsatsantsa coach Gavin Hunt confirms that his team was on the verge of signing the keeper.
"He has done well and he should be signing with us soon. Besides being good, he also brings a wealth experience to the club.
Meanwhile, SuperSport has again been robbed of the luxury of taking a full strength team to Morocco to face FUS De Rabat in their CAF Confederation Cup second leg match this weekend.
United is set to jet out to Morocco on Wednesday minus their new signings, Dipsy Selolwane and Bradley Carnell, after failing to register them with CAF.
"I would have loved to take them to Morocco but a CAF rule could not allow us to register them for the second leg. It's very bad and out of control, but I will have to take what I have for the return match."
However good news for Matsatsantsa is that defender Bongani Khumalo and midfielder Shane Poggenpoel, who returned from Ajax Cape Town after unsuccessful trials, will travel to North Africa with the team this weekend.
