Namibian striker for Usuthu

If there is substance in reports from across the border, Namibian international forward Tangeni Shipahu will be plying his trade for Amazulu next season following a successful two-week trial at the club.

Shipahu’s former employers Tigers FC announced at the weekend that their striker and club captain Tangeni Shipahu has joined Usuthu on a three-year deal.

Shipahu had previously failed to impress at SuperSport United and Bloemfontein Celtic last year.

He joined Tigers at the beginning of the 2007/08 season and has played 55 games scoring 34 goals. His previous clubs are Flo United, Blue Waters, and Black Africa.

Shipahu has been capped five times at senior national level.
