It seems there is no stopping Mpumalanga Black Aces in the transfer market as they continue to build for the 2010/11 season.
Amazayoni CEO Marc Grune has confirmed the club’s signing of Bafo Biyela after the midfielder was released by Golden Arrows.
Now Aces have targeted two more to add to their already massive list of new players, Excellent Walaza and Josephy Kamwendo.
“Yes, it is true that Walaza and Kamwendo’s names have been mentioned in our meetings and hopefully we will announce more new signings soon,” Grune tells KickOff.com.
Meanwhile, Aces have decided to terminate the contract of Romanian goalkeeper Tiberiu Lung before he even kicked a ball in South Africa.
Lung, who has been capped by the national team, had signed one-year contract with Aces, but according to Grune, he has already been booked on the next flight home.
“He had some personal and family matters that had to be sorted out at home and we have since terminated his contract.”
KickOff.com had earlier reported that Aces signed Denis Onyango from SuperSport United – this after earlier bringing in Francis Chansa from Bidvest Wits.
