Aces surprise in Charity Cup voting

With 11 days remaining before voting in the Telkom Charity Cup closes, Mpumalanga Black Aces have emerged a surprise contender in the final four.
According to voting on Monday morning, the Witbank-based club has moved into fourth position ahead of Bloemfontein Celtic and AmaZulu.
Mamelodi Sundowns lead the pack on 29 027 votes, well clear of Kaizer Chiefs (26381) and Orlando Pirates (21 129). Aces has 12 678 votes.
Celtic and AmaZulu are fifth and sixth respectively with 7640 and 7630 points.
The four teams with the most points will play in this one day tournament taking place at the Soccer City Stadium on August 7.
