Mark Mayambela has finished Orlando Pirates medical

Bucs may seal Mayambela deal today

Orlando Pirates are close to completing the signing of midfielder Mark Mayambela after the player underwent a medical test this morning.

Mayambela, who is part of a swap deal with Tlou Segolela going the other way to Bloemfontein Celtic, is scheduled to train with Pirates this afternoon.

According to a reliable source at Bucs, the deal should to go through before the end of the day.

“Mayambela is here and depending on the medical he will definitely sign with the team, probably before the end of the day.”

Phunya Sele Sele technical director Mich d’Avray had earlier confirmed to KickOff.com that Mayambela was on transfer and that they were talking to Pirates.

Mayambela is a lazy player. Dangerous only again Chiefs otherwise not such an impcat player like other wish to believe. I would keep Segolela because Pirates need goals and have not problem in the middle.
Segolela is player that can both score and create, effectively. This is a miss.

Remember the season is too long, we need bulk of players to win the League. Now I understand why Pirates said "NO" to the offer for Teko,Players must stop rushing to play in Europe because within a season they just dissapeared,In the World Cup how many players we had plying their trades with overseas teams look Nomvete it had helped him to come back home and play our domestic soccer he started to be Bhele who was known before going abroad. Who said that European clubs play better soccer than us in Africa,we have to take out this mentality of thinking that something that is abroad is better than with what we have here in Africa.Now we need to show them that we do have our own Gods talent.Let us learn to be proud with what we are.Khoza and Motsepe did well by sanctioning this Europe teams by not giving them Gaxa and Modise respectively. Strange swap deal in that Tlou acquired more market value for having had a brilliant season with Celtics whilst Mayambela could not even make it to an imaginery list of Bafana Bafana.
