First Division returnees FC AK have re-signed towering striker Anderson Yoboue.
The Ivorian forward himself returns to the First Division having flopped in his mission of breaking into the top-flight last season.
An impressive record of five goals in seven matches at FC AK during the 2008-09 season saw Yoboue ignite interest from the Premier League clubs with Bidvest Wits snapping him at the beginning of last season.
Having been signed just before the start of pre-season Yoboue was then surprisingly shown the door as the season started from where he then linked up with Mpumalanga Black Aces.
At Aces he didn’t last long and was then sent packing after failing to make any impact and then disappearing for a while after also failing to win a contract at SuperSport United.
The 26 year-old has now resurfaced at FC AK where he has agreed to splay for them this season.
KickOff.com’s informants at FC AK confirm that Yoboue’s good form that he showed in his first spell at the club has convinced management to bring him back.
Yoboue initially left Bahumi after allegations surfaced at the time that he was owed a signing-on fee of R200 000 and three months’ salary by then relegated FC AK.
