Moon back at Ajax Cape Town

Bryce Moon will rejoin Ajax Cape Town on loan from Greek side Panathinaikos for the upcoming 2010/11 PSL season.
The Bafana Bafana international right-back, who can also play as a winger, returns to the club he left for Pana in Greece in 2008.
Things did not work out for him in Europe though, with injury limiting his playing time in his first season, and then a loan move to PAOK for the 2009/10 campaign that also failed to yield game-time.
Ajax CEO George Comitis has denied the loan deal, but Panathinaikos press officer Andreas Droukopoulos has confirmed that it will happen.
“There are just a few things to be sorted out, a few signatures to be put on paper, but everything has been agreed and I can say that this will definitely happen,” Droukopoulos said.
Moon is hoping to get his career back on track after missing out on a place in the 23-man Bafana squad for the 2010 World Cup.
His career has not been helped by an incident that led to the tragic death of a pedestrian, Mavis Ncube, hit by a car that Moon was driving after a party hosted by the Aaron Mokoena Foundation following the 2009 Confederations Cup.
Although he initially faced charges of culpable homicide, those were dropped in April this year, though prosecutors have insisted they could be reinstated after further investigations.
Moon will vie with junior international Nazeer Allie for a starting berth in the Ajax team, though Allie was used as a centre-back at times last season. Lance Davids, who has since left the Urban Warriors for Lierse in Belgium, also played in the right-back position.
