Inter set sights on Pienaar

Inter Milan have reportedly made Everton winger Steven Pienaar one of their top transfer targets.

The Italian FA have ruled that the country’s clubs can only sign one new non-EU player in a bid to improve the national team, and Inter Milan boss Rafa Benitez is keen for South Africa international Pienaar to be that man, reports England’s Daily Mail newspaper.

Pienaar, who scored seven goals in 36 games for Everton last season, has one year left on his contract at Goodison Park, but the 28-year-old South African has yet to agree to an extension to the current deal.

Everton manager David Moyes is desperate to keep the midfield playmaker, and has reportedly slapped a £15million (R175m) price tag on his head.

A question King. Is Teko still the player OP relies on? Also what does it take from you to accept that a player is worn out, is a liability and does not live up to expectations. Leave his presumed riches aside, its not about that but it IS about his abilities which and believe have waned. I personally will not have him in my first 16. How about you? PS!emotions aside.

Teko is brought in because he is supposed to be at the level of Pienaar. He is ofcourse waaaaaay behind and that makes him a flop. Yes, a flop because he started like a hosue on fire but has since suffered a long serious regression, i cannot even call it loss of form because that you regain. His is a sudden deformation of abilities caused probably by the stupid hair style he has.

Can someone please remind me here, what has Bafana Bafana won with Pienaar at the helm? What have we ever achieved (as Bafana) with Steven Pienaar The Great playing in our midfield?

if Teko was as good as Pienaar he would not be still playing for OP...as far as I know Teko was playing a the wing(Left) for OP last season and he was moved to the right for Bafana just to accommodate him since he can't compete with Shabba, so to say he is not being used effectively is just an excuse,yes he was good but not anymore and comparing him to Pienaar is just an insult to Schillo

Correct legend, i cant recall even a single match, infact it shows dat Teko is de man if he doesnt perform well bafana doesnt win even if tshabalala scores but if Teko performs bafana r sho to win how ironic dat de chips haters dont like him cos dey cant call one player of theirs who has won a match 4 bafana & dey try 2 make themselves feel better by hating de navigator. If Teko had a good world cup, he will move overseas, the agents were watching every player, Pienaar is a great player, Inter is interested, and I tell you, they were watching Teko as well, he's average, technically he's below average, he play 18min on a 90min game, i am an OP supporter, you can watch him if he's going to get a run this season, count the minutes he play positive football!

publicity and endorsement is something, hard work is something, if Teko was of Beckam's make, it was something, but he's not he's wasteful in his setpiece and selfish, he does not give other players chance, look at Bafana, he has a tendecy of taking all the spotkick, until he missed one, thats when he stopped, great players dont do that, how many games at OP did supporters say aishhhhhhhhh! when he took those freekicks which were goal bound? great players influence their teams to cup glory, Anthony Luffor, Bongani Khumalo, Esrom Nyandoro, Danne Klaite, Tenashe Nengomashe, Jimmy Tau, how many trophies did Teko lift, then you can compare him with Pienaar,

the team that Pienaar plays for can give OP 5 0 hummering, when people say Everton is a small team, I just dont understand what kind of measurement are they using to figure this out, in the English Premier league a small team is number 23,24,25, and Teko wont sell for R175m, he might be great but price determine that, how much can Teko sell, lets not compare, apples and tomatoes, please people, I love my team OP, but Teko is a tomato, Pienaar is an Apple, period!
