Maritzburg United have completed the signing of Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Shu-Aib Walters on a three year contract.

Walters who was part of the Bafana squad for the 2010 World Cup was cleared to move by Bloemfontein Celtic to United on Tuesday.

United CEO Afzal Khan confirms to KickOff.com that the Cape Town born goalkeeper was now officially their keeper for the next three years.

"We are delighted to sign a keeper of Shu-Aib Walters’ calibre. We know that there were other teams that were interested to sign him but we are very happy that he has opted to sign with Maritburg United where he enjoyed his stay last season," says Khan.

Ernest Fakude what happened to the 'Z' between T and B? Or you telling us that we no longer have Maritzburg. What is this Maritburg team this luckiest nkomo in SA had signed for? Please proof read your work or ask someone to do it for you. Go back and put that 'Z'

Ooh no it seems I spoke too soon check Khan's comments you still did not put the 'Z'on Maritburg United. This is no longer sloppy but not respecting your job.

This player is not THE material.I am glad he's signed for Maritzburg before Trott signed him.Smart move by Celtics.Never keep a player whose heart is somewhere else.He will never die for the cause.
