Ajax Cape Town have lost defender Deniss Ivanovs who has been signed by Turkish team, Sivasspor.
The 26-year-old defender from Latvia has signed a two-year deal.
Urban Warriors CEO George Comitis confirms that Ivanov’s deal was concluded this weekend.
"He is a very good player but if a great overseas opportunity comes for our players, we don’t stand in their way. Ivanovs has already been cleared to his new team,” Comitis adds.
