Spain midfield duo Xabi Alonso and Sergi Busquets were overjoyed after la Furia Roja defeated Netherlands to claim the 2010 World Cup.
Iniesta got the only goal of the game in the second half of extra-time, prompting Xabi Alonso to label the Barcelona man as the tournament's Golden Ball.
"It's incredible. It's difficult to explain, its euphoria, a joy.... Andres Iniesta is the Golden Ball," Alonso is quoted as saying by AS.
Barca midfielder Sergi Busquets dedicated the win to his family and friends and said he can't wait to return to Spain to celebrate their historic success.
"Football owed this to Spain. I dedicate it to all my friends, my whole family, to those who have not been here. This World Cup we will keep with us forever.
"I still cannot believe it. I can't wait to go back to Spain and be with our people," Busquets noted.
