Ajax Cape Town midfielder Sameehg Doutie has extended his stay with the Urban Warriors for further three years.
Doutie, whose contract with Ajax was to expire in June next year was earlier linked with move to SuperSport United in a swap deal that was reported to involve Masibusane Zongo.
CEO George Comitis confirms their interest in Bidvest Wits midfielder Sifiso Myeni but says they have backed away by the price being asked by the Students for his services.
"Yes it's true we were interested but the problem was 'telephone numbers' asked by Bidvest Wits."
The Urban Warriors recently signed Nhlanhla Vilakazi from Bay United.
