Talk about sour grapes after exiting from the World Cup, Paraguay's captain Justo Villar takes the prize.
Villar has lashed out at Fifa for giving the World Cup to South Africa, claiming the country was not prepared to host the tournament.
South Africa has generally garnered praise for its hosting of football's 2010 showpiece event as many pre-tournament fears failed to materialise.
However, Villar – who was playing in his third World Cup – insists that behind the scenes it was a very different story.
"I think South Africa was not prepared to host the World Cup," the Valladolid goalkeeper told Telefuturo back in his home country.
"A load of things happened. Like in the first game, against Italy, when we had to go to the hotel, the bus broke down – a new bus – and we had to wait 45 minutes and we had to go in taxis. Fifa only care about the stadiums and what you see on TV."
For the life of me, I cannot see how South Africa's preparedness to host the World Cup has anything to do with a new vehicle, the product of an official World Cup sponsor breaking down mechanically.
Maybe he believes 'the Hand of South Africa' had something to do with it.
Villar enjoyed an impressive World Cup, conceding only two goals in the tournament as Paraguay reached the quarter-finals where, despite the 33-year-old saving a penalty, they were defeated by Spain.
