Iniesta motivated to face 'fantastic' Germans

Andres Iniesta is confident Spain can beat a Germany side brimming with confidence in the World Cup semi-finals.

La Roja scrapped through to the semis with a 1-0 victory over Paraguay on Saturday night at the Ellis Park stadium and earlier in the day Germany romped to a 4-0 victory over Argentina

However, Iniesta, who was in the team that beat Germany 1-0 in the Euro 2008 Final, in Vienna, Austria, is confident Spain will again get the better of the Germans.

"Germany are having a fantastic World Cup and it is going to be a very exciting game. We are feeling very motivated, things are going our way and we really want to go through. The strength of this team is that we all pull together and that’s what is going to take us all the way. It will be a match between two teams that like to keep ball and I think it will be a great match," he says.

Meanwhile, Iniesta, who was man of the match in the quarterfinals match against Paraguay, says he had anticipated a tough match.

"We had all sorts of problems in this match and we knew it would be very tough because Paraguay have been playing well throughout the World Cup. We should be proud and happy," adds Iniesta.
