Prince Olomu staying at Bloemfontein Celtic

Olomu not moving this season

Posted: 2010-07-02 13:25

Bloemfontein Celtic midfielder Prince Olomu will remain with Phunya Sele Sele and not move to any other team.

Olomu was the subject of speculation regarding a move to Gauteng, but Celtic have managed to convince him to stay in the Free State for another season.

Siwelele CEO Ike Augousti has confirmed that the player is back from Nigeria and has joined the rest of the team for pre-season.

"He is a Celtic player and is going nowhere. We only heard about him going for a medical at Kaizer Chiefs through the newspapers, but nothing officially was communicated to us regarding that information. He is back with us and will be wearing the green and white colours this season."
