Kanono joined Celtic last season from Orlando Pirates and put in a few of good performances with Phunya Sele Sele, however the two parties could not agree on a new contract.
The player's manager Machini Motloung confirmed to KickOff.com that the player was now looking for a new club.
"Thembile sacrificed lot when he left Pirates and joined Celtic but things did not go according to the way they were expected despite delivering good performances every time he given a chance to play.
"He had a great spell with Santos but I think since then he has struggled to find a place where his full potential could be realized. He is ready to move on and is waiting for offers," the manager adds.
