Mokotjo back in Dutch Premier League

Posted: 2010-06-30 07:11

Former SuperSport United midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo is set to enjoy the taste of Dutch Premier League football after being promoted to Feyenoord’s first team.

Mokotjo was initially relegated to the reserve team before being loaned out to Excelsior Rotterdam towards the end of last year.

However the midfielder has since been recalled to Feyenoord and included in the squad to play in the Premier League this season.

Mokotjo confirms to KickOff.com that he is back with first team for the new season.

"Yes, it is true I’ve been recalled back to the first team and I am looking forward to enjoying top flight football this season," he says.

How foolish of SAFA not to have kept the whole group that won the u12 World Cup! If this boy is anything to go by, then if that group was kept together, our future would be looking very bright

Damn boy you've been good since the days you won the Danone under 12 world cup. Keep up the good and 1 day you'll lift again the world with senior team. These are the kind of players that Pitso must look at, as they've got that winning mentality & also exposure to European football of high standard.

Mr Editor you should really have added more details here...something like: The boy was the most consistent performer at Rotterdam...at some point his coach was suprised why his teamate, Erasmus, was called by the National Team ahead of him. Voted as the best player at the Danone u12 and touted by the one and only Zidane as the one for the future. My point Mr Editor is that, I'm sick and tired of guys like you that perpetuate mediocrity just like your friends at SAFA! We need to improve our Soccer ahead of 2014 at all levels (especially after our distratous performance at this WC)...This improvement is also required from you guyz in the media who tend to promote certain players ahead of others....if this was a Chiefs or Pirates player, say Masango, would u have written such few lines as you've done how. I rest my case.
