Tevez confused by substitution

Argentine striker Carlos Tevez says he was left confused about why Diego Maradona decided to substitute him despite putting up a fine performance scoring a brace as he went on to be named Man of the Match.
Tevez was pulled off just after the hour mark having already snatched a brace including a controversial first and a quality second goal struck from outside the box in his best display at the World Cup so far.
"He told me that he wants me to play further up and told me that I can go further down if I want to as long as I feel like doing it," says Tevez in reference to how Maradona has said he must play in an attack that also has Lionel Messi and Gonzalo Higuan.
However he seemed not been impressed about his substitution.
"I needed a match like this to show that I am fine and ready to do the job for my country whose jersey I am proud of wearing. It is good to have won the Man of the Match award. I am proud to wear this t-shirt and I was fighting and feeling well till I was substituted.
“I have no idea at all about why I was substituted from the match when I was still feeling good. I don't understand why I was being substituted. I am not to blame when the team is not getting the ball so much.
"I really don't understand why I was substituted," says Tevez.
Despite his minor displeasure it is fast becoming a realistic target that Argentina could win their third World Cup with Messi gradually coming good and Higuan leading the scoring charts.
The next hurdle at the quarter-final stage for Argentina comes in the form of impressive Germany.
"I am happy that we are now in the quarter-finals and we are now looking up to the next match," says Tevez.
