The winger has yet to play in the tournament due to a hamstring injury, not that his country has suffered without him: wins over Japan and Denmark have sealed their place in the last 16 with a game to spare.
With top spot in the group also almost assured, the game against Cameroon could prove a good opportunity for Robben to get some much needed match practice, but Van Marwijk insists that he won't be taking any chances over his fitness.
"With Arjen we will wait; if he looks well today he will be in the selection for the match."
The Oranje boss also revealed that he will not let his team's performance levels drop, despite being safely through to the knockout stages.
"I think it's an important game because, although we're through to the next round, the issue is in this tournament you should not let your guard down and that is the case tomorrow."
