Mario Booysen jetted out of South Africa on Friday for a two-week trial at Turkish Super League side Karabukspor.
Centre back Booysen, 21, has previously trialed in Poland but feels this opportunity could be even better.
"I'm excited to again. I'll have the same attitude to work hard and hopefully sign a deal," he says.
The trial was put together by Prosport International who manages Booysen.
"Mario leaves tonight for Turkey after the club was happy with the CD footage we gave them," says Prosport Internationals' Miguel Paiva.
"Should all go well we hope to conclude a deal in the next few weeks."
Booysen had been recalled by Ajax Cape Town after his solid displays for Maritzburg United while on loan.
"My time at Maritzburg worked well for me. There's nothing like regular game time," Booysen quips.
