Liau to try out with FSS

After training with Mpumalanga Black Aces before the season closed, former Orlando Pirates midfielder Thapelo Liau is now set to try his luck with Free State Stars. 

Liau has struggled to find new team since leaving Moroka Swallows, but his manager Jazzman Mahlakgane is hoping that the Johannesburg born midfielder long search for a new club is set to end soon.
 
"Thapelo still has lot to offer local football and I am certain he will find new team soon. He trained with Aces but it was only for a few days and they were about to close for the season. 
 
"He has now been invited for trials with Free State Stars when they open for pre-season on June 25."

You must be joking! This guy is so overweight he makes Benni look like a feather weight boxer; he has been playing social soccer with "The Dream Team" around Joburg and can't do a 20 metres sprint ! FSS, stay away from him, unless you are also an old age home like...

Thapelo is a very skillful player. I tell you. This guy makes Ronaldinho look like an amateur on his good day. His problem was the weight he was carrying. I hope he is fit again. Coz the last time I checked he was bigger than Benni.
