Orlando Pirates skipper Lehlohonolo Seema believes he still has a future with the Mighty Buccaneers next season.
Seema is one of the players reported to be on the way to join Mpumalanga Black Aces next season. Other Bucs players linked to Aces include Josephy Kamwendo and Bennett Chenene.
Howvers speaking to KickOff.com, the former Bloemfontein Celtic defender says it is news him that he is supposed to be joining Amazayoni next season.
“I have only read it in the newspapers; nothing has been communicated to me officially in that regard, not even from my agent. As long as I have a contract with Pirates, I believe my future with the club is still safe.”
The Lesotho international failed to see action with Pirates last season and conceded that the season was one of the worst in his soccer career because of the injuries he suffered.
“It is difficult to judge my performance last season as couldn’t play due to injuries. As footballer you always want to play and hopefully next season I will stay injury free.”
Orlando Pirates are already reportedly looking at Siyabonga Sangweni and Robyn Johannes to reinforce their defence next season.
Meanwhile Black Aces are continuing with their signing spree by acquiring Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Bongane Twala.
The former youth international sealed his deal at the weekend and will be joining his new team mates on June 20 for pre-season training.
Despite showing a lot of in his first season two years ago Twala stagnated this past season failing to get much game time due to tough competition.
The club has confirmed the signing of Twala but further details of the deal will be disclosed later.
