Santos are chasing Jomo Cosmos' Malian striker Sekou Camara in a bid to boost their attack next season.

The Capetonians, who finished fourth in the Absa Premiership, are reported to be close to finalising a deal with Ezenkosi boss Jomo Sono which will see Camara coming to Cape Town on loan next season.

The People's Team coach Boebie Solomons confirms their interest in the Malian.

"I like him very much and he is one of the players that we are very interested in bringing to our team."

Cosmos have already lost defender Thapelo Tshilo to Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of the new season.

This is probably Sundowns's best signing in years. Your are lucky to have South Africa's best defender who ironically will not be playing in the world cup. Surprising indeed how players are selected for the national team in South Africa. Go Tshilo Go!! One day you will lead Bafana Bafana to glory.

SuperSport UTD, pls sign Felix Bedenhorst from Cosmos, he is a gem, miles better than Madubanya, Nkosi, Carelse, etc.
