Maritzburg United are poised to sign Jomo Cosmos midfielder Ayo Oluwafemi after both teams agreed on terms this week.

Oluwafemi's arrival in Petermaritzburg is set to see striker Norman Smith moving in the opposite direction to Johannesburg to join Ezenkosi on a permanent deal.

Smith spent the past six months with Ezenkosi on loan from the KwaZulu-Natal based side.

The People's Choice CEO Afzal Khan confirmed the imminent arrival of the Nigerian midfielder to the club to KickOff.com.

"We have agreed everything with Cosmos and the only thing left is to sort things out with the two players."

Khan said his team is still interested in signing midfielder Kurt Lentjies from Mamelodi Sundowns.

Lentjies enjoyed a great stay with United last season after being loaned to the club by the Brazilians.
