Downs sign Tshilo from Cosmos

Mamelodi Sundowns have signed defender Thapelo Tshilo from Jomo Cosmos.

Tshilo, who was earlier reported as seeking a move overseas, has penned a two-year contract with the Brazilians who are also on verge of signing Platinum Stars midfielder Tsepo Ramokala.

Downs communication manager Alex Shakoane confirms that ‘Chappies' will be wearing the club's colours next season.

"Yes, he is now our player. It's a done deal."

The arrival of the Amabinneplaas defender at Chloorkop is set to spell doom for defender Robyn Johannes who has indicated that he wants a move out of Sundowns due to limited game time.

The Patrice Motsepe owned side have already signed central defender Method Mwanjali from Caps United in Zimbabwe.

Another new signing for the Brazilians ahead of next season is Zimbabwean national team striker Nyasha Mushekwi.

Now this is crazy from masandawana. Im starting to question the reasoning of our management. Do you sign players bcos you need them or you just sign players to show off? this is nonsense, this shows lack of planning and vision. Just that I fell in love with this team many many years ago, before motsepe took over and I am not going to turn my back on it. people come and go but the team will remain

good signing but i wonder if the new -to- be- appointed coach will use him. who signs players for downs anyway as i know we don't have a coach? i concur with u sipho, my team sign for the sake of it, if u sign players others must be loaned or sold to pirates as we have invaded pirates for the past two-three seasons.

Msiphos,Trott is out there to destroy our team.I suspect that there are forces who are using Trott to destroy Motsepes dream.I despise the day Trott was brought to our team,no.wonder why he was unemployed.He keep on signing players while the team is coachless.I wish Natasha Tshiklas can be brought back before Downs can be like Bucks...you know what I mean?

Ok now I quite this Sundowns joke, for real now Johannes, Xulu, Ferriera, Booth, Mngomeni, Spencer and now Thapelo all these are central defenders, how many striker are there, this is total crap, Sundowns technical team is clueless and useless. In fact, do they communicate with other departments and discuss salaries of these players because honestly some signies are just cheque collecters. Mr. Motsepe, with all due respect, kiss my a$$...

I think Tshilo is a good player nice one Dawns a goog signee but as for the Zimbabwean be careful is he Mshwebi for real?!!! Well we will see when season kicks off.I wish chiefs sign
Robyn just like in the past where we signed Fabian and he became so important in our team that we still miss him even todate.

it daz make sense to sign 2 defenders especially if you have Xulu, who might leave...then Johannes who might leave as well.....wot daznt make sense is why sign without a coach?

Clearly trott is out ther to destroy our beloved Downs,as for Alex i dnt what is h job realy at Sundowns.this is disgusting now,this technical team under Mostepe our over doing it now........we dont have a coach bt we still busy signing players(not that Tshilo is a bad player,he is gud bt do we nid him?) Alex Tshakoane has expired and aged can i please recommend that Sundowns employs a young innovative Public Relations Officer,the Aces PRO is available can Sundowns give him employment he will turn that club upside down like he did with Aces as for Chappies really i dont knw why we signing players without a coach.
