Walters could return to Cape

Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Shu-Aib Walters' search for new team next season is set to come to an end with both Ajax Cape Town and Vasco Da Gama looking to bring him back to Cape Town.

Walters who is still left with a one-year contract at Bloemfontein Celtic has made mention that he is not interested in playing for Phunya Sele Sele next season.

After making it into Bafana Bafana's final World Cup squad, the Mowbray-born goalkeeper is likely to be excited to learn that Ajax are preparing to make an offer after the World Cup.

Speaking to KickOff.com, Urban Warriors CEO George Comitis did not rule out the possibility of bringing Walters back Cape Town.

"We haven't taken a final decision on him but he is a possibility," says Comitis.

Comitis also revealed that there is a chance of selling striker Diyo Sibisi next season.

"He was supposed to have gone to Qatar for trials but was delayed by a visa problem. There is also now another team in Qatar and one locally that want his services next season.

"If we can get another good striker then a deal may be done."

KickOff.com understands that Platinum Stars is the local team interested in signing Sibisi.

Goodluck Shaiub. I must admit that I was one of those who thought you will be dropped (subject to Rowen's fitness because he is more experienced than u r). Benni got what he deserves. He use to fake injuries when he did not want to come and play for SA. He use to pick and choose games he wants to play. Now it's time for SA to pick and choose players she wants to play for her. Quinton Fortune also learnt the hard way. Benni must come and play during AFCON qualifiers to prove that he has SA's interest at heart. If not, he must go to hell. Sooner he will be clubless even in England. HGe must come for trials at Vasco da Gama.

Yes I think Walters should return to Vasco cos he is a cheat like them, he may have forgotten but many have not, how he threw a game at the playoffs when he was with with Clyde, as they were poised for promotion. He will keep going around in circles... you reap what you sow mnr...

Funny no Benni was mentioned in the article, yet the comments is about him.... lest we not forget who scored the goals AFCON 96 & France 98. Shuaib, what must be, shall be, no amount of silly critic can change that!
