'I'm speechless' - Vilakazi

Bidvest Wits' two-goal hero Sifiso Vilakazi was "speechless" after his two goals in referee's optional time. But his super cool finishes will go down in history.

"What can I say? I am speechless. I don't know what to say. Today was just marvelous," the former Ajax Cape Town and Free State Stars striker says.

With Wits 1-0 up thanks to Fabricio Rodrigues and 90 minutes already up on the clock, Vilakazi first beat Nick Gindre with an accurate low shot.

"Already from the first whistle we were in AmaZulu's half, putting pressure "

Seconds later Sifiso Myeni slipped the ball to Vilakazi, he rounded Gindre before finishing expertly, again with his left foot.

Talk about knocking an opponent when they are already down.

Asked about AmaZulu's lack of concentration at the death, 'Jomo' said: "We remained patient and this is what our coach told us to do."

"Already from the first whistle we were in AmaZulu's half, putting pressure. I think we deserved it today.

"I didn't feel pressure … even the younger players too. It's a new stadium … the first game at Soccer City but we really wanted to make history," Vilakazi says.

Asked about the atmosphere inside the cauldron that will host South Africa against Mexico on the opening day of the 2010 World Cup, Vilakazi had this to say: "The atmosphere ... it was wonderful. If the supporters can keep it going like this until the World Cup then I think our boys (Bafana Bafana) will be very motivated."

ysteday I was at the stadium. It's a world class stadium but I'm a little dissapointed with the quality of the football on the day. What makes me dissapointed is that how on earth can the South African big 3 teams fail to make the final and open Soccer City themselves instead they leave it to the small teams. We were out in numbers yestay jst to c the stadium not the soccer as It was boring we even left b4 the final whistle I was surprised when I got that the final score was 3 nil.South African soccer is dying a slow and painfull death
