Four Bafana Bafana players were part of a large crowd that paid their last respects to Emmanuel 'Scara' Ngobese at the Life Changing World Bible Church in Katlehong before he was laid to rest.

Teko Modise, Siphiwe Tshabalala, Itumeleng Khune and Reneilwe Letsholonyane took time off from Bafana Bafana duties to bid farewell to their friend and former teammate who died from tuberculosis last week.

Others at the moving ceremony were Ngobese's manager, Jazzman Mahlakgane, South African Players Union representatives, Kaizer Chiefs captain Jimmy Tau and Ekurhuleni executive mayor, Councilor Ntombi Mekgwe who all paid tribute to the soccer star.
