AmaZulu players are set to share R3 million amongst themselves if they win the Nedbank Cup Final on Saturday.
AmaZulu, who qualified for the Final after beating Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday, are set for a titanic Final clash against Bidvest Wits at Soccer City Stadium on Saturday.
Speaking to KickOff.com, Usuthu publicist Philani Mabaso confirmed that there are incentives lined up for players if they win the Nedbank Cup, but declined to reveal the figures.
"There has always been a structure at AmaZulu where players get incentives for winning Cup Final's and there is no exception this time around.
"I can't reveal the figures because it is confidential between the players and the management."
Mabaso said more than the incentives being offered, AmaZulu players were very excited about the prospect of playing at Soccer City Stadium.
"We are fortunate as AmaZulu because our teamed opened Durban's Moses Mabhida Stadium and now we are part of history of playing at the venue that is going to host the opening and final game of the World Cup.
"We are humbled by this special gesture of being part of South African football history and hopefully we will put our hands on the trophy after the last whistle on Saturday," he says.
