Mpumalanga Black Aces have handed Oscar Ramogoadi his clearance which signals yet another move for the goalkeeper.
Indications are that he could be heading to Platinum Stars although Free State Stars are also said to be keen on his services.
The writing has been on the wall that Ramogoadi’s career at Aces is coming to an end since the beginning of the year despite having a year remaining on his contract.
“We have negotiated a settlement with Aces since Oscar still had a year remaining on his contract. He also had a signing on fee due to him in July. Right now we have his clearance in hand and a cheque in settlement of monies due to him,” says Thabo Moloto, the player’s business manager.
Platinum Stars look keen to sign him to provide stiff competition for first choice keeper Tapuwa Kapini following the departure of Wayne Sandilands at the beginning of the year.
Free State are also interested as they need a cover for Kennedy Mweene as Walter Khumalo is also leaving when his contract expires at the end of the month.
